The new Bunlite pants and Frontier shirt worked great with the new Tamarack pattern. I stayed very comfortable in 36 degree temperatures with just my Frontier shirt, Bunlites and light weight long underwear.

The hunt took place on the Blood Tribe Indian reservation just west of Lethbridge Alberta through Tailfeathers Outfitters. Tailfeathers has the sole concession for the area which includes river bottom for whitetail hunting and buttes and coulees for mule deer. This was my third year hunting with these folks and it is a great hunt with lots of deer seen every day, many in the 150 class. The guides are super and really know their stuff.

Shot my nice 140 class 8 pt after a short stalk from about 275 yds. 2 minutes later I saw a monster 10 pt that I could not shoot,but that's Alberta!

I have used my King of the Mountain clothing for more than 10 years and love it. It is light but very warm and can save your life in really bad weather. I have used it in Canada, Montana, Colorado, Mexico, Pennsylvania, Virginia and other states for all kinds of hunting.

Thought you might get a kick out of the elk I killed in Alberta last week. This hunt was also on Indian tribal land south of  Ft MacCleod near the Montana border. As you can see,it was great to be wearing the KING! Cold as you could stand,but the King of the Mountain wool was awesome! Hunted with Ken Nowicki and Rob Tailfeathers of Tailfeathers outfitters. Could not have been a better experience!
